Our Government's little Secret

Who's says a government can't have a secret weapon? Around the world people believe nations have a secret weapons that are powerful enough to destroy others but what about vampires or mythical creatures, have anyone thought of that possibility?
Conner Johnson was a student studying law at the University of Virginia when his father Carter Johnson, died in action as a Secret Service member, which did not surprise him but did hurt him and his family. After graduating college and getting his Law degree, he worked for the government just as his father had done but a bit too early.
With a case that dropped right in front of his face by accident, he's partner up with a unexpected 'person' and not like his own. A person strong enough to throw boulders miles away,ran probably as fast as sound, with fangs that will bite into anything, and drinks blood but not human blood.(Remember he's not like most of his kind)
Cage Smith, a very, very old 'person' that serves the USA for nearly as long as the secret service has very been around. With the pressure of a young mind, Cage knows what they're after but can he protect Conner from the fate he, himself had?
