~ a Steven Universe fanfiction ~
  After years of going in hiding, Tessa, also known as the gemstone Emerald,  is called to the aid of the Crystal Gems. Along the way to bring her brother and college friend to safety in these dark times, she finally explains and accepts her troubled past, all while fighting for the future of Earth and, quite possibly, the universe.

Suffering from newfound amnesia, a fourteen year old orphan girl finds herself waking up in a beach house far from home, run by four people calling themselves "Crystal Gems". It is there that she discovers that she's changed: her usually red hair is now green, she has two green gemstones protruding from her right shoulder blade and left calf, and she know has to cope with her new "powers". From there, she has to train with and aid the crystal gems in the fight for humanity, while also frantically search for her missing older brother. And she will do ANYTHING to get her brother back safe...

*please note that a majority of parts in this story take place before the beginning of the show. This story doesn't converge with the original plot line of the show so as not to clash with newer episodes*
