Falling into a delicious world of fantasy from a world of stale ordinary life is not what was imagined for Lavender, a 17 year old girl cursed with the odd name from her dead mother. It was her mother's favorite color, her favorite scent, and her favorite flower, but Lavender hates everything about it that her mother held so dear.
While on her way home one day she finds herself on the brink of death, her hermit of a neighbor coming to her rescue. She awakes in the hospital and seems to be under a spell where here eyes turn a light shade of purple every time she hears the voice of a woman she never knew, fraying the shallow grip she has on reality.
The only clue she has to these strange occurrences is the neighbor who saved her. But when she escapes her sterile prison to find answers her life is in danger once more, except Mother Nature is the one who has it out for her this time.
Then, she awakes in a land with five kingdoms, a cat with glittering eyes like a dragon, and a queen who is out to get a person with lavender eyes. Unfortunately, Lavender was now a fugitive.
