Katsumi Koyama lives with her older and younger siblings in a crowded apartment in downtown Tokyo. Her entire life changes when she and one of her siblings see flying, glowing fish. And a magical flying penguin. The fish enter their bodies and give them supernatural powers. At first, everything was fine. But with a major war starting up, Katsumi was going to have to get involved one way or another.

As school starts [f/n] is very shy and scared to make friends with people due to her past. But what happens when [f/n] becomes manager of the boys volleyball team and realizes it's not just organizing and discussing volleyball plays. As manager it becomes harder to cover up her past until something terrible happens. Although if it wasn't for some sly beanpole [f/n] wouldn't be where she was today.
