Adrien hears that Marinette was becoming friends with him to use him just to get to his father, a famous designer. This false rumor was actually made known to Adrien by Gabriel Agreste himself, who fears his son's independence. Adrien, as Chat Noir, confides in Ladybug, and she gives him advice- though they are just vague enough about the details of their own lives that they still don't realize each other's identities. Chat visits Marinette more and more often to figure out how he feels. Warning: potential sappiness ahead, and scenes of different pairs in the love square etc.

Adrien had gotten into one of the biggest arguments he had ever had with his father, leading him to run from his home as his alter ego, Chat Noir. They had grown apart since his mother's disappearance. Adrien always tried to speak with his father and try but he was always busy or away. He finally snapped at his father.
