Madelynn Maslow has been through a lot. She had gotten pregnant at the age of 16 and her boyfriend, Ashton, left her. He hasn't spoke to her since. She was left to raise her baby without him.
James, her overprotective big brother, was never told. He moved to Nevada long before any of it happened to turn his hobby of boxing into a profession. He hasn't seen his family since he moved away.
Two years later, their mother decides that it's time for a visit. They head off to Nevada to surprise James. Maddie is terrified. She never meant to keep such a big secret from him. And when he finally finds out, well, he's not going to take it lightly. He'll be out for Ashton's blood.
Maddie desperately wants to forget about Ashton. But with James on a mission to hunt him down, he's only going to be dragged back into her life. And Maddie wants Ashton to stay far, far away.
