This is the second book to Darkness In Phoenix. It starts off just how we left Phoenix entering her old home and finding out gut wrenching news. 

Phoenix will have to control the power inside of her but being alone isn't helping it. Being trapped in your thoughts is worse than anything imaginable. 

Can Phoenix survive this war? Can she battle to listen to her brain or will her heart lead her on. With the man she is so desperately in love with so close but yet so far gone it is impossible tvo see him as the man he was.
