In a small town Richmont, Colorado, Emerson Jacoby is trapped in her high school with fifteen others. It all started with a freak hailstorm that ended with Emerson crashing her car which kills two of her best friends. Emerson saves her little brother from being crushed by a large piece of hail and run to the nearest location. In horror they watch the world end before their eyes.
