Raven McMillan, a seventeen year old orphan lives in St. Williams Orphanage, Tennessee. Her life was wrecked due to the sudden death of both her parents in a car crash. St. Williams Orphanage managed to shelter her and provide her a better standard of living. When she finally manages to overcome the grief and depression of the loss of her parents and a happy family, she's offered to be fostered by a reputed doctor couple who's already parenting two of their kids.
Raven's decision to stay with them leads her to a near death experience.
