She didn't flinch as he buried his fangs in her neck. The burning sensation travelled through her entire body and made her veins burn. But she still didn't flinch, even when his tongue flicked across her skin as he sucked her blood. Blood started trickling down her shirt collar and she still stood tall.
Then the doors flew open and he jumped back.
"What is this?" the headmaster exclaimed.
"What does it look like?" she walked past him, patting him on his shoulder.
And that's when they knew that she wasn't like the other humans - if that's what she even was.
