Caroline Volkov- Powerful, strong, but she has a secret or two. She's also afraid; afraid of herself, the monster she is, and people. But what happens when she 'accidentally' bumps into Isaac Lahey? A boy with a new sense of confidence and a secret as well. He and her can never be together. They are complete opposites, but opposites attract... right? Will that be enough to keep them together when they need each other most or will Caroline push him away like she always does; or maybe he'll push her away, afraid of what he could do to her and afraid of trusting someone other than himself?
