Meet Mackenzi Aldrich, known as West Lake's top student, shy, nearly friendless, and very careful. Some people call her the only good-girl in the entire town, but she doesn't care she just needs to survive her senior year. Once she does that, she's off to college, away from all her high-school tormentors, and a life full of bad memories. Everything's great.

That is until Landon Swanchi is introduced. He's the bad-boy, nearly the exact opposite of Mackenzi. He's made of mediocre grades, loud voices, big groups of people, and recklessness. Everyone knows he's trouble, but he's trying to lay low for the year. Then he's off to college, away from a life full of bad memories. Everything's going to be great.

Now, add the young and brilliant Ms.Lindsay, every senior's favorite teacher, and her end of the year partner projects. Everything's going to get interesting.
