Right after the tragic events in New York, there are some things that are yet to be explained. Tony Stark is the man who can't. He is as wrecked as the city itself. As much as he tries to fix himself, he couldn't help but fix his suits first. Tony tries to explain everything to Pepper, but he can't quite get the words out. And Pepper, well, she misses him a lot. But the way it used to be. On the other hand, an unusual guest takes foot on Stark's mansion. It's been quite a while since Alex has visited Tony and her aunt, Pepper. She hopes that everything will be like it always was: Fun and comfortable, yet familiar. But many years had past and through these years, there have been many changes. From the familiar love her aunt and Tony shared, to the complete strangers they have become. Will Alex be able to fit in to these changes? Or will she have to do a little fixing herself?

Since it's an AU, we will be seeing it from Tony Stark's daughter's (your) perspective so the story begins with part 1 showing the younger version (so this scene is from 2012) after that on part 2 we jump off to the scene after Tony's funeral, so here we see Pepper being miserable and Fury comes to comfort his daughter (you) but you tell him to get lost, when everyone leaves, she finds Bruce and she begs him to let her use the timemachine, he hesitates but eventually agrees due to her pleading she does go back, but in the timeline of 2012's timeline, to the point when she was just 6, to the beginning scene of part 1, physically she is in her 6 year self's body, but mentally she is 18, and your only mission is to keep Tony safe, will you be able to protect him this time, or will she have to lose her everything over again?Complete

This story is as the title says. It's a Tony Stark x reader fanfic. However, Pepper Potts doesn't exist. Well, she does, but for the sake of the story, she died. So, you took over as Tony's live-in assistant, you'd been working there for years and you bonded pretty quickly... I don't know how to write descriptions. Here are some notes you should know before you start reading though: 1. Obviously Pepper is dead 2. You met Tony during the events of the Avengers movie (you are an Avenger on a technicality) 3. Your abilities are: Healing, Telekinesis, and Telepathy 4. You have no parents, they died as far as your aware and you grew up in foster care (you find out more in the story) 5. You essentially took over for Pepper, being acting CEO of Stark industries, assisting Stark, falling in love with him although it was unrequited at first. Extended Summary - Stephanie Aiken was was born into a family of scientists, but only a few months after her birthday there was a fire. Her parents, Eric and Lillian Aiken, died and baby Stephanie went missing for 7 years. She was presumed dead, until found and handed over to a family very close to the Aikens. The Starks. Tony was shocked to find out he was now legal guardian of a child, but after some convincing from Pepper, his trusty assistant, he took her in as his own. Stephanie never really spoke, she was closed off and didn't like physical contact and Tony was okay with that. Less work for him.
