Julia was always a sad girl who kept to herself most of the time. She didn't socialize much. She didn't have a ton of friends. She hid her sadness behind humor and a beautiful smile that could blind anyone from 1000 miles away. Her family is very wealthy and perfect from the outside but what she really lives with is a father who goes to the gym for 7 hours and a mother who is a screwed up drunk who doesn't give a fuck about anything but herself and her reputation. Julia feels so alone and doesn't think anyone understands. Every time she tries to tell her mom about her sadness she tells Julia to pretty much go fuck herself and talk to someone who cares.

Dylan is the most popular boy in school. He's beautiful and can get any girl he wants. He has good grades, good job and a good family who always supports him. He has a perfect girlfriend Jane who loves him and he loves her. His life is going great that is, until he meets Julia one day at school and he begins to question everything.

Due to having a terrible memory, Aiden decided to write in journals about his daily struggles, his longing for a better life, and breakthroughs that he accomplishes throughout the story. Aiden loves to sing and Write his own music. He is good at the piano but his love is the old guitar that his Gramps gave him years ago. Throughout the story, Aiden struggles to move on through each day, as days turn into night and night into day, he finds himself growing colder towards his father. Who is the towns hero practically. everybody loves the star football coach, Josh Phillips. Things aren't what they seem behind doors though, their father tends to be abusive. Verbal and physical. Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things. Can Aiden solve the mystery of his father's behavior and show the world the true nature of his father or will he choose to shrink down to nothing and continue to struggle?Complete
