"He was fire. I was ice.
He was my addiction. I was the addict.
He was angry. I was depressed.
He was the definition of trouble. I was the definition of losing control."

Veronica Harthridge wasn't looking for trouble after being expelled from school and being moved half way across the country. She wasn't your typical teenage girl. Living with a single parent wasn't easy for her. With her mom barely making an appearance at home or in Veronica's life, Veronica was bound to lash out every now and then.

Heading to a town in Southern California- soon to be called home- she crosses paths or more like almost crashes into the towns bad boy.

Here enters Dylan McMurray. Dylan is South Westridge Highs bad boy. He gets what he wants when he wants. The girls, grades, classes, friends, and anything materialistic he desires. All his. But it all starts to change when he almost crashes into the new girl in town and school. He makes a deal with her knowing its gonna be hard. He senses she's a challenge.

A challenge worth accepting.

So now I ask you, The Reader, are you willing to accept the challenge and enter the world of Veronica and Dylan's turmoiled world?

If so...
