In 2098, artificial intelligence robots are being manufactured in huge numbers. They can think, act, and "feel", just like humans, but they are not considered as such, and are built cheaply, and manufactured to "die" after two years, in order to make people purchase more, these flimsy designs cause many to die before 24 months, and this leads to the hatred of them. One robot wants to change that before they die, but that's hard when your being hunted.
