Join Frisk and their new-found friends in their adventures in the surface world! After reuniting everyone, the monsters and their human friend make the trek down Mt. Ebott to the human city. Despite their hopes, getting used to life on the surface isn't easy, though help from their very own ambassador ensures safety and friendship through the struggles of getting used to the human world.
-Mostly canon content (The only AU I'm using is Floweypot)
-No mature content
-Since it's neither confirmed nor denied (at least, I don't think it is), I am assuming that the main monster characters besides Toriel and Asgore at least know about the first human and Asriel and were possibly around when Chara fell and when they both died

She was turning 16, the age where she'll be able to help her parents with royal duties, and get more privileges, when her younger sister, Frisk, goes missing. Y/N's life falls apart, while her mother heartbroken, and her father started to ignore her. Not having a great life, she decides to run away, learning about the hard life of being a citizen. Having to live on the complete opposite side with poverty, she learns she has to hide, and everyone isn't what they seem. Not even her. Written: May 10th, 2017--June 22nd, 2017 reposted from my AO3, anonemones; contains both part one and part two. After a year of living on the surface, monsters and humans have gotten along well, with (mostly) everyone adjusting to the many changes without much trouble. However, events take a strange turn when Sans and Papyrus--both of whom have been acting unlike themselves--go missing, supposedly without a trace. In their place are two monsters who go by the names of Wingdings and Aster, twins, claiming to be the lost Royal Scientist. Everyone is thrown for a loop, especially as nobody remembers a Wingdings or Aster--or, as they claim to be, "Dr. Gaster"--nor do they remember a Royal Scientist before Alphys. And with Sans and Papyrus missing, things don't look good for either of the boys. As their friends search for the missing skeletons, Wingdings and Aster work together to uncover what's happened while they were gone, as well as what might've caused everyone to forget them in the first place. But, trouble lurks within the shadows, as the Void closes in on them once again--refusing to let go of what belongs to it.
