After losing his wife in an inevitable explosion, Japanese detective resumes his life as justice's guardog. His duty - shoving criminal behind fences and knowing when to pull the trigger. Offering commiseration, he places twelve-year-old orphan girl under his wing, and turns her into a most capable detective herself. As the grand Gion Festival approaches, suspicious events start to unravel reasons behind murder in Sendai, including the sudden plummeting of crime-rates. Through challenged ideals, betrayal, actions and decisions, the duo would soon confront a cleanse world, formed by madness.
