Draco and Hermione have kept their relationship a secret from everyone; but, after three years of constant lies and deceit, Hermione has had enough. After she offers an ultimatum, Draco agrees to go public; but Hermione learns prejudice and hatred are not traits only common to the Slytherin house. Labeled as a betrayer of her friends and Gryffindor, Hermione must make a decision about what matters most; in so doing, she finds that one decision could change everything.
This piece is one I like to label an "alternate history". You'll find some of the details of the story coincide with how JK Rowling wrote them; but, for the purpose of this story, many things have been changed; not so much you'll hate it though, I hope.
Mikhaela Janna Lim, daughter of a renowned business tycoon, craves a normal life away from the spotlight. She even persuades her famous friends to pretend they don't know her, all for the sake of solitude.
But when her path crosses with Maraiah Queen Arceta-a social butterfly, soft talker, and academic achiever adored by many-everything changes.
Will Mikhaela cling to her quiet sanctuary as an anonymous introvert, or transform herself to win Maraiah's heart?
