A 13 year old girl named Raine Smith. She is an average girl. Tons of friends, lots of family, good grades. But nobody knows her mind. She's been playing the violin since she was 5. Her mom is very pushy about her practicing. She needs the music scholarship if she's ever going to get into a good college. Don't get me wrong, She loves the violin. But she hates following the sheet music. Yes, she plays the music, and quite well might I add, but she feels it has no personality. Her instructor constantly nags her about her dynamics, tempo, and how she moves to much while playing. She ignores him of course.
Raine has a father. She goes to his house every other weekend. No siblings. But tons of cousins. Her dads side is HUGE. Her mom is a very supportive person, and maybe just a little pushy with grades and violin. And that's why Raine can never speak to her mother. About what she goes through every weekend with her dad.
During this story, Raine will be going through hell. Many things will happen. She will be sent places. We want there to be a happy ending. Guess you'll see.
