~Mitch looked at me and smiled before saying "It's complicated Kirst, Scott is my best friend. He's kinda like a firefly, his beautiful glow is mesmerizing, and I just want him to myself, to keep forever, enjoy his company and be entranced." I was in shock, and didn't even have time to respond before Mitch spoke again. "It sounds amazing yes, but again, like a firefly, you can keep them as long as you want to, expecting them to amaze you everyday, but in reality, you don't know how long it will last." I wasn't sure what to say, so I just hugged him and whispered in his ear, "That's just a chance you have to take."

UPDATE: I wrote this a while back and it's been in my drafts for quite a while and I decided that it might as well be published. PTX was still together (Avi was still in the band) and I wrote this "after a break they took to spend time with their families"
I don't think I'm going to change anything in it unless my co-owner wants to edit it. So anyway, enjoy!

Another pause as Levon tried to find a way to dispel the tension in the call. "Are you good?" Todd asked when Levon failed to form a sentence, and Levon realized how out of character it was for him to call Todd. There a was a layer of concern just under Todd's indifferent tone, and the protectiveness that seemed ever present in Todd when they were younger and Todd was always saving Levon from his problems. Levon's anger seemed to melt away at that familiar sense of security. "I'm good," Levon spoke finally and a soft smile spread over his lips. "Are you good?" "I'm good," Todd said gruffly. "Are we good?" Levon asked and Todd scoffed. "What we. There is no we. We're not friends." "Wouldn't want you as a friend anyway," Levon snickered. "You're kind of an asshole." (This develops into a mystery later in the story). *** The Point of View (POV) changes throughout the story mainly from Scott to Mitch. Some smut, mainly PG-13 but if there is more than that, it will be listed next to the chapter title with an (R). Possibly mild triggers of depression later in the story, but not much. The chapters "Confrontation" and "A Game" are forming a background for some fans who may not know as much about Pentatonix or where they go/what they do as some of my friends wanted to read but don't know much about them.
