Ali Montgomery, a Southern Belle who was brought up to the "Southern Lady" standards, graduates from Duke University with a Bachelors Degree in Dance gets unexpected news after she moves from Durham, NC back to her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. She learns that nothing is what you expect it to be. 
Mark Underwood has had a rough past with lots of trouble. His friends desert him after his last encounter with a Rough Rider of the West, and to top it off his parents died when he was young, sending him to an orphanage. 
Can he live a new life in Charleston without being hassled by the cowboy or will the cowboy get the best of Mark?
With a fateful encounter on a rainy eve, Ali and Mark meet under exuberayting circumstances, causing them grief. As the month goes by, they grow closer until a shady cowboy rolls into town leaving Mark with his hands tied. 
Will the Bad Boys of the South be too much for Southern Lady Ali Montgomery, or will Love conquer all?
