Disaster plagues a small town. People are kidnapped, found dead, or never found at all. But this town is no normal place, it is backwards. Sane adults are locked away in jails, or worse. Sensible children are enrolled into a school for the "Mentally Disabled", and seem to lose their memories after entering the fog that surrounds the school. There are few students enrolled at that school who figure out what's happening, but they never get the chance say anything. Because they're never seen again, until they venture through the doors of the school one day, completely different. Even the teachers there go missing from time to time, and then return with entirely different personalities.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. She was pretending to be normal while being experimented on at home. Her life was different from the day she was born. the parents she knows don't care for her or any of her siblings that were there. So she helped them escape, and stayed behind for a reason unknown. But when high school starts and she has to stay home the first day because of experiments something changes. Her scientific 'parents' want to do a routine test but Shane injects herself accidentally with adrenaline. stupid of her really but her parents inject her with something. this was the last straw for her as the pai became too much for her. when she goes to school the next day she is different. it's noticeable to anyone and especially to the guy that bullies her everyday. what does she do when she see's her bullies girlfriend cheating on him? what will she do when she sees bruises on him? what does she do when she starts to change into a horrible being that only wants one thing?Complete

This is followed by several tribulations, conquering each of them, drowning in some and even attempting suicide. In college he's inscripted into the special branch where he becomes a cold killer who cleans the government mess. His story is that of denial, struggle with identity, lack of personal freedom and misery. It radiates several lessons and reveals how a person can be totally different from what others know about him. He knows that his end is near and that he has to find ways to emancipate himself, because knowing much can get you killed. Have a wonderful read.Complete

That is what Phantom had the power of doing. Present day Jane Moor, the now lone survivor of her school's explosion, has to decide if she wants to live a normal life or protect the ones she cares for. After 3 years of pain from Phantom, an organization hellbent for domination, she has gained strength and knowledge that few have ever discovered. Playing parts of the innocent, the killer, the friend, the child, the leader, and the dog she has had enough servings others. However, Jane knows what's coming and may be the only one that can not use it as an advantage. Her own powers battle against each other and the past fights the road she has chosen.
