Arena has been through much over the past 6 months. She has made unexpected friends, lost loved ones, been kidnapped and fought in a battle. She is no farmer's daughter but Robin Hood's and Eliana Earlene's daughter.
The daughter of a thief and a noble. Life as she knows it, has changed but for better or for worst, she has yet to discover.

Since her decision to stay with her mother, Arena's way of life has changed. She remains close with Prince Stephen and the royal archer Hunter, her feelings for the two boys have grown. However when Arena's grandfather, Eliana's father wishes Arena to leave the royal castle for the Earlene estate to learn to be a Noble, Arena isn't pleased.

There was always that nagging doubt that Arena didn't belong with the rich, that she belonged somewhere else but where, was the question. She had discovered her real heritage but not where she truly belonged. Did she belong with her mother or perhaps with her father?

Sequel to Aiming Straight, Aiming True.

A WitchHunter with a glorious destiny. An assassin desperate for freedom. A stable boy with a dangerous secret. A friend with a hidden family. A brother who craves vengeance. ~~~ The deceit is this: The Hunter has a Lochri daughter. The stable boy has a secret curse. The WitchMaster isn't what he appears. No one knows how or why the Lochri came into being. Some believe it was the work of gods. Others, many, many others, believe they are spawned from something much darker. WitchHunters, employed at Hunter's guilds, live their lives in search of these monsters, these unnatural beings who dare to question the order we have kept in place for centuries. I do not hold the title of WitchHunter, however, for I am something far more sinister. I am Alice, the Demon Raven of Kindleridge, and I'm their Ace. ~~~ They call her the Ace, the assassin owned by Velius Dag, highest ranking WitchMaster in the Kingdom. For six years, the Ace has lived mostly unbothered, but all that will change when Hale Arsen, Velius's adopted son, returns to the Ridge, and the Ace is assigned to protect him, as he will one day become the future WitchMaster. Tensions rise as the two clashing personalities come together time after time in feud, but with the Lochri problem growing ever stronger, and secrets begin to unravel themselves, these two opposing forces will have to realize that working together may be the only way to keep the world from figuring out the truth that could spell disaster for them all. What happens when you realize you might be the bad guy?
