Ruby's village stays confined to a forest that surrounds the village. No one would dare to attempt to escape.

Wolves stalk the woods and anyone who has ever left as ended up dead. They are trapped within a forest with the wolves circling. To keep them at bay every full moon the village leaves an animal sacrifice.

However, this moon it has failed, and a person ended up dead leaving the king of the village to make a hard decision to sacrifice a virgin for the full moon.  

The first virgin being Ruby. And with this sacrifice Ruby is dragged into a dangerous world.
