Hello, my name is Elijah. When I was little I never really thought that I was different. I always thought that I was a ordinary little boy with an ordinary life. That was until some things happened. My life was changed forever and I have to just suck it up. Many years after my life changing experiences I found myself finally comfortable with dating in middle school but I was also in a deep depression. I soon realized something in 7th grade though... I didn't just like girls and I would soon find out that liking the same sex is not acceptable.
**This is my first story on here, I hope you like it and I'm sorry if it's too dark and depressing!**

This is a project I originally started in like.. 7th grade and I've re-written and re-written it over and over again and I'm publishing this now in hopes of it being the final version of the story. I'm not done yet and updates might be irregular, but I got a whole bunch of stuff on my plate next to this, I hope if you do give it a read, you still enjoy it. They say write about what you know, and this is sort of that, a little. My two main characters, Wylie and Elias, going over their days as trans guys in middle school; Wylie playing pretend that he's a cis-guy who has not yet hit puberty, and Elias, who's openly trans at his new school, even though he's been mentally scarred by his outings before. Elias is aroace and has depression; Wylie falls from one crush into the next and has severe trust issues and self esteem problems. The two of them have been, as mentioned, my projects for a longer time now, and I think I've got them right this time. "Don't you see now why we can't be together?" I whispered at the crazy boy in front of me. "Aren't you repulsed by me? Disgusted? Dis interested? Can't you just tear my heart out and leave like any other normal teenage boy?" My voice cracked. He simply shook his head. "Sweetheart, I thought I made it clear from the first time I said it," He paused, "I. Like. You." He emphasized every word, and I gaped at him. "Hell of a lot, actually, so it'd be great if you stopped being salty and liked me back." "Don't you get it?" I whispered unbelievingly, "After all that, and you still don't get why I can't be with you?" He seemed relaxed, calm. Too calm for this situation. "My life doesn't involve a guy like you, Nathan. Never did. You're not my knight in shinning armor, and you aren't going to save me. This is reality, the real world. I was only 7 when I met her, but we had an instant connection. We were inseperable. She was always happy and joyful around me, but me on the other hand, I was a completely different story. I suffered a disorder that caused me to have no emotions. I told her my condition and she understood, but one day she dissapeared, I didn't feel sad, worried or angry like I should have. I just continued my day like any other day, but by myself. I continued to have no friends as I got older and talked to no one, but it didn't bother me. "I am... frustrated." I began. Okay now he was really amused. The fucking bastard; he was grinning like the bitch he was. I rolled my eyes. "I'm sure you could find someone to help you out with your... frustration." He tried to sound as serious as he could but he didn't manage that very well. "I don't want to sleep with a random guy. I want to..." I took a deep breath, blushing like a 7 year old. "I want to do it myself." "Okay. But...?" He was confused. Yeah time to explain that I've had sex with a lot of guys but I don't know how to make myself come. Great; that's going to be fun. "I've never..." "You're a virgin?" But being attracted to your very charming, very hot and very unstable PE teacher is very bad. Especially if you've known him since you were a child and he is 10 years older than you. It was only senior year. Four years of my life all about to come to an end for college next year. Had the stereotypical deadbeat father and hardworking mother in a Caribbean household. The bisexual, black girl trying to get through her senior year of high school. I was the girl who knew everyone but had a small group of friends. I was the star track and field runner for the girls' team at school. I hadn't been intimate with anyone in two years. It was going alright until I met you. You popped into my life, made my head spin into a 360, and that's when it all changed. You changed me. And for that, I mostly hate you then appreciate what you did to me. And it's because of you, I'll never be the same towards love again. They say your first love is something you won't ever forget. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname." I offer happily. He looks up from his book, raising his eyebrows. I just stare for a moment. He has nice eyes. Pretty brown chocolate orbs. They remind me so much of....... "Teddy." He shakes his head immediately, frowning. "What, why not? You remind me of my old teddy bear. He was a good listener and he didn't talk much..... just like you." I say softly, tilting my head. He continues to shake his head. I fold my arms, leaning back in my seat. "Yeah, it's definitely sticking. Teddy.....It has a nice ring to it, yeah?" He sighs, the first sound I have ever heard him make. "No." . . . *Jordan* Teddy!? Seriously!? She gave me a fucking NICKNAME!? What the hell does this girl want!? I stuff my hands into my pockets, walking down the busy street. Forget about her. She's just a annoying pretty girl, she'll go away. Everybody does. She HAS to go away. *Spoiler alert*: she doesn't. Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway.
