Kate had the most normal family, one that moved a lot, she got to see new cities and new people. She always felt like the odd one, everywhere, no matter how normal she looked against other people. Then, she moves again, and she meets a guy that won't stop looking at her, a strange act for a person like him.

When he tells her his secret, fear rules temporarily her life, and as she wonders if everthing else is more than it seems, a series of events tell her, that her life wasn't what she thought it was.
