Laine Ryder is a werewolf. Not only is she blamed for her parents' death, but she is hated by everyone in her pack, including her siblings. To them she is nothing and that's all she ever will be. Even though she's abused by them, she's never thought of leaving. That is until the unthinkable happens.

Finally, after 7 long years, she musters all the courage she has and flees, taking her dead mother's journal, unraveling some of the mystery that is now her life.

Just when the bad memories start to fade, when she finally starts to live, and love, she is forced back to the place where it all started. But this time around things are 10 times worse, leaving her wishing she had never went back.

She has a heart full of forgiveness, but no one wants it.

Sibling rivalry has become a little more than sibling rivalry.
Hearts are broken.
Friendship's are tested.
Lives are ruined.

And after realising that there might be a higher power involved in her parent's death, she is forced to flee once again for her safety.

This time stakes are higher.
There's a bounty over her head.
More secrets are revealed.

Things are different this time around. Things aren't handed to her like the first time she ran. Having to deal with someone who's hell-bent on getting rid of her and getting mixed up with the wrong crowd, Laine might just be able to use this to her advantage.

But now Laine has to figure out who's a friend and who to add on her long list of foes.
She's out for blood.
She wants to ruin the pack that ruined her.
She wants them to crumble right in front of her eyes.
And what better way to do it than The Perfect Crime.
