I slammed the front door shut and stalked to my car, on my way to school. I arrive at the school building grumbling to myself. Another day, another school. My lovely mother kept trying to encourage me before I left. “Oh Ben, you’re a good guy. Remember, it’s a new day. Try not to get in trouble again.” I knew perfectly well that she was implying that I shouldn’t get myself arrested or expelled on my first day at yet another new school. Its not like I ask for trouble though, it comes to me, like I’m a magnet. And who am I to turn down any fun?

I say as I still lie under the covers. My mother pulls my cover from my body and tosses it on the floor. I quickly sit up in my bed and glare at her. "Get your ass up now you have half an hour left before your first-period starts and you better not be late," she demands. "Mom, this isn't my school. This isn't my home. I don't want to go."
