"Marius....where are you?" The feminine voice coming from the drainage grate, was hesitant. "Mmm-arius." Off to the side of the dark dank drainage grate was the body of Marius.... His elongated fangs and half turned body lay in the ruins of the city. His pack all gone, the grief of loosing their mates was to much. The witches vengeful ingrates were falsely destroying a race.... The humans Lon gone. Vampires using up the dwindling supply of animals left on earth.... The parallel is closed no one can get in and death alludes them all... So full of hate and bitter rivalry the story begins where the story should have ended but their isn't always happy endings is there? Marius- a strong young werewolf and soon to be Beta. His mate murdered in cold blood... Marius has become the animal inside. Equinox- a young witch learning the craft. Her hard life of hiding from the vampires and hell hounds, eventually catches up with her. Violette- the last of the peaced race. Her struggle to contain her power and fulfill a world ending prophecy to bring new life, strains on her.
