Set 6 months after Rise of the Guardians and Brave. Set a year after Tangled and How to Train Your Dragon. The guardians and Jack are living peaceful lives watching over the children of the world. But then Pitch Black returns with new allies: Mother Gothel, Red Death, and Mordu. So 3 new guardians are summoned. They are Rapunzel, Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, and Merida DunBroch. When the world and the guardians are at stake, can they really rely on 4 teenagers? There were once four kingdoms, each representing one element, Fire, Water, Earth and Air. The Eldest Heirs are brought together in the hope that they will bond and make the Lands closer together. However, there is one element that has been left and he's furious. They thought he was gone. They thought he was dead. They'd seen his body. Seems like they underestimated the Element of Time. However, the Kings and Queens of the Land can't stop him like they used to. They're older and weaker; the Land needs the younger generation to stop him before the Element of Time overalls everything and everyone... Based on the Big Four, but they've been given different names and slightly different characteristics. Rated PG because of language.

Hiccup Haddock, Jack Frost, Queen Elsa, Rapunzel of Corona, and Merida of DunBroch are five not so ordinary people living unique lives. That is until their lives take a turn when they are summoned to work together to take down Pitch Black who had somehow found a way to return, now more powerful than ever and with an army of everyone's fears. In order to save themselves and the children of the world, they will have to work together, using their skills to go against the King of Nightmares before their worlds come crashing down. The Big Four. Four BFFs from hundreds of years ago. A series of accidental meetings that blossomed into strong friendships. Until one of them moves. And then dies. The other three are devastated by this news. They decide not to have their planned meeting when they turn 18. But fate chooses to unite the four once more. They enjoy hours of reminiscing and story-telling, and get glimpses of how life has been good to each of them. My book follows the story lines of all of the movies almost exactly. I changed RotG to better fit the timeline, though, causing Jack Frost to become a Guardian very soon after dying instead of hundreds of years later. This is a Big Four story. It is not named after Bilbo's book for any particular reason. It's based off a picture I found on Pinterest that I added to the top of each chapter. Edited, as of 3/31/16!
