Excerpt from book:

'"Hey, it's Keith from the other day." He says, his voice a little deeper than what I remembered,

"Oh, hi, how are you?" I say, my heart beating a little faster,

"Actually, I was thinking, do you want to, uh, go get some coffee in that coffee shop that we met in, or something?" He says, the day we met I concluded that the nervousness around him makes him cute,

"Oh, yes, sure, I would like that." I say, breaking out into a smile,

"Meet you there?" He confirms,

"Wait, Right now?" I ask, his spontaneity taking me by surprise,

"Um, yeah, right now. I mean, I that's okay with you?" He says, and I can imagine him blushing a little from the other line,

" oh, uh, y-yeah, yeah, okay." I say, going along with him and his ways,

He hangs up the phone, and I get dressed, seeing as I just got out of the shower.

But let's backtrack a little............"

[COMPLETE] Sorry this may be cringe, it was written very long ago A seemingly ordinary, working college girl meets a cool, undeniably sexy boy with millions of followers at his feet. How will their completely different lives allow, or prevent them from getting what they want? Expect some drama, flirty lines, steamy scenes, funny best friends, and perhaps, an overall epic love connection. ~ Carter came around the corner as his eyes darkened with a predatory gaze. Oh no. He took a step forward, minimalizing the distance with every dominating stride, as I froze in my spot. My breath hitched as his arms finally encircled my waist and his eyes locked with mine. In one swift motion, he flipped my body so my back was pressed against his chest and hands gripped the curve of my hips. "What game are you trying to play at Valerie?" he spoke in a husky voice. Goosebumps danced along my skin as his hot breath fanned against the shell of my ear and his fingertips lit a trail of blazing heat along the length of my arm. Mentally shaking myself from the trance of that which is Carter Bryson, I tilted my head towards him and whispered; "One where you'll lose." Quickly escaping his hold on me before the tension became unbearable, I spun on my heel to face him and slowly backed away towards the exit. "Good luck though." I added mischievously. With a smirk and a devilish glint in his eyes that could even give hell a run for its money, he replied; "I'm not a player though, baby. I'm the gamemaker." ~ ❗️Mature content. I scooted a little closer to him and tilted my head a little, curious to know what his response would be. "Um well we could uh talk about our lives you know, school and family and friends and other stuff like that." "And do you really want to do that?" I asked him running a finger down his white t-shirt after closing the small distance between us. "Do you really want to just sit and talk about family," I leaned over to whisper in his ear, "and friends," I lightly nipped his earlobe while continuously running my finger down his shirt until I reached the waistline of his black jeans, "and school," I was just about to trace my finger over his zipper when he gripped my hand and looked me in the eye just as I finished saying, "and other stuff like that." I looked up from our hands to his green eyes, taking in the blueish specks of his irises, with a hint of hazel mixed, surrounding his pupil. We stared at each other for a minute, me admiring how close his proximity is and how the tingly sensation of his hand on mine felt good. "No I don't." Dominic groaned out, looking down at my lips and then back up at me. "No you don't what?" I leaned in a little, suddenly feeling drawn in to his green eyes and awaiting lips. ------ Ryler didn't expect to fall for him so soon. It only took her 2 days for her to realize how much she truly cares for him. Only 2 days for her to also realize it was a mistake. Only 2 days for her to feel heartbroken.

His rich, velvety voice sent thrills down my spine as he spoke my name. His intense, mesmerising gaze focused on mine, making it impossible to look away. As he drew me closer, his powerful arms wrapped around me, and I could feel the warmth of his breath against my skin. The aroma of his fragrance, a seductive blend of spice and musk, filled the air, making my heart race and my senses whirl. It's as if every aspect of him is intended to captivate and enchant me, keeping me completely entranced. Release me," I muttered, feeling my cheeks heat up as I stubbornly avoided his gaze. He let go like he had forgotten to do so. For a few seconds, neither of us said anything. I fiddled with the hem of my sleeve, pretending I was calm, while secretly screaming inside. Why is he just standing there? Say something, idiot! Finally, he broke the silence. "So, why were you ignoring me?" he asked in low, almost accusing. "Why would I ignore you?" I lied without flinching, acting like innocent. But he wasn't buying it. "I saw you," he said, stepping a little closer. "You ducked behind a door like you were dodging bullets. You thought I wouldn't notice?" Ugh, busted. I rolled my eyes. "Maybe I just didn't have any reason to confront you," I replied, crossing my arms as a shield against how close he was now. He leaned in slightly, smirking, "Oh, but you had plenty of reasons to hang around those guys at the swimming pool, huh?" he shot back. "I was just... talking," I said defensively. "It's called being social. You should try it sometime instead of lurking around like a spy." He chuckled, "Lurking? Please. I was just passing by. I was surprised when I saw you laughing with those guys like you were starring in some rom-com." I refuse to back down. "And what if I was?" I challenged. He didn't flinch. Instead, he tilted his head with a mock-thoughtful expression. "Then I guess I'd have to remind you... there are better options around " he said, tapping his chest casually.
