Masses swarm under the safety of the Earth as radiation beats down from the solar flares. Cities built under hundreds of feet made of bedrock, provide just enough to sustain the peace. But all comes at a cost, the governments must be repaid. Control and order is inflicted on the citizens; a curfew was put up, everyone's movements were recorded and crime was a thing of the past.
Everyone knows, you can't stop an idea once it is implanted in the mind. The Government knows this too. They used to their advantage. The 'Personal Intelligence Pack' was introduced.
Everyone lost the will to escape, they accepted their place in the chain of being, they didn't put up a fight.

Everything started in 2036. The pollution was so bad that the end of the world was predicted to be right around the corner. As complete panic set in around the world, the rich and important people were all gathered and placed on giant spaceships with enough resources and room to house generations of human beings. Before they left though, the government leaders fired As a result, most of the human population died off and earth was a complete wasteland. The little that survived started building local communities and trying to survive in the destroyed excuse of a planet. On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves. The people with the new blood type are said to be able to be resistant to most high falls, and also are stronger than the average human being. They are now capturing people with the new blood type, blood type AE positive. You just happen to be one of those people with the rare blood and you drive in an attempt to escape the clutches of the Obelus.
