Deep in the meadow is where the Mellark family can live safe from harm, safe from danger, and especially, safe from the games.
President Snow is dead. His family is dead. And the Capitol will learn to live equally with the districts. But as we know from the rebellion Katniss triggered, it only takes one person to make a huge change, and that change may not always be for the better.
What the districts don't know, is that the Capitol's head thaumaturge survived the rebellion and isn't happy about the changes that Katniss made.
He wants the Capitol to be the head of Panem again. He wants things to be like they used to. But what he really wants, is to get the games back. To become President of Panem. To rule just like his role-model, president Snow.
But first, he has to get rid of the person that killed his President, killed his daughter, and got rid of the games. Katniss. And that includes her family.

After Snow Falls
The Capitol has fallen and all of President Snow's supporters have scattered. Many await their fate at the hands of an angry public or the scheming of their past colleagues. But Charasija Snow has a different fate. As the granddaughter of the late President Snow, the most hated man in the country, her parents had but two choices. One, let her share in their death and end the family line or two, send her away with a new face, new identity and nowhere to return home to. If she could go back she might have asked them to choose the first. But no one gave her a choice. And what will happen when she sees the controversial inhabitants of that town? Namely, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.

It's been seven years since the events of the book: Mockingjay, occurred. Katniss has been living peacefully with her husband, Peeta, and her two children: Rye and Willow. But what happens when a ghost from her past reappears? Will she be able to take the trash out, or will she die trying? One thing's for sure... she'll learn to never leave any Loose Ends behind. Hijacked (An Everlark Fanfic) (Plot twist/After Mockingjay story)
This story is based off a mini plot twist, but otherwise this is just an After Mockingjay story. The plot twist is basically that Katniss didn't kiss Peeta when they were in the Capitol during the Rebellion, and how it would effect Peeta's recovering, since that is obviously taking it a step back. --- Katniss is broken, tortured, and she has lost almost everyone she ever took a second to care about.
