"Promise me this," Caycee said to her sister in a rage, "after tomorrow, after we graduate-" she paused to take a breath while her tears still glided down her cheeks. "Promise me you'll never speak to me again." "With pleasure," Bea replied sharply. With that, she slammed the bedroom door behind her hard, causing all of the girls' pictures to shake on the wall next to it. A small plaque fell off it's screw and cracked into two on the floor. Caycee picked it up and set the halves in front of her. It was one of the presents their mom had received at her baby shower. Caycee read it in her head: 'Two miracles instead of one, two special lives have just begun...' This book is dedicated to Lindsey (@LindseyLoo52) who's been my best friend for years and a fellow Directioner who's loved Liam since the boys' Kid Choice Awards performance. (; I love you, girl!
