Some dream of a chance to live forever, in this life or another. That doesn't change the fact that it's a curse. Watch everyone you grow attached to grow old and die, as you remain in a constant state of living. You would watch as the human race destroyed itself, with atom bombs or chemical weapons, or perhaps peacefully, not knowing the peace is slowly poisoning them. Tara was young when she was granted immortality, she didn't have a sense of her own mortality. Busy enjoying life as a 14 year old girl, she is visited by a wizard, who promises her a wonderful life, filled with riches and fun, if she simply accepts his request to marry her. She politely declines, insisting that she is not yet ready for marriage. The wizard becomes angry and curses her to only be allowed to die when the earth is dead...All Rights Reserved
