The novel contrasts two worlds: the Right World and the Wrong World. The Wrong World is the world we live in, based on total violence. The Right World is hidden behind an invisible wall in a remote corner of Romania. There is no violence or death there, and all animals are intelligent and have equal rights with people. After a long period of isolation, a passage between worlds suddenly opens, and the inhabitants of the Right World send two scouts to our world. They are a dog and a super sheep, capable of taking on human form. The sheep meets a young vegan man here, who calls her Mioritsa, after the heroine of a Romanian folk ballad. Soon the scouts are recalled, but they rebel and decide to stay in our world and try to fix it. Will they succeed in this daring attempt?
