I felt him coming closer and closer, I felt his breath on my cheek, tasted his smell on my lips, but right before his lips touched mine, I turned my head: "I can't, Shawn. I'm sorry."
I almost felt the disappointment radiating from his body, but his face only showed empathy. "Why?", he simply asked.
"Because I'm still with someone else. And I don't want to cheat on him. Especially with you. You deserve better. Someone who's completely yours. Not just half"
"But I don't want anyone else and you know it."

All Nathalie ever wanted was to live a life of importance. To move out of her small town and never look back. Go to America, the land of infinite possibilities; the land where dreams come true.
But it's hard for her, to trust people. To really let them into her life.
But then she meets Shawn, the young, famous superstar with the big heart. They quickly become friends, fall in love, but there are still many things standing in their way. Their different life styles, her growing confidence, his anxiety.
Slowly both of them doubt if they're meant to be together, but fate doesn't seem to give up on them just yet.
