Ever since Jack started high school in a new district, he can't help but like the most popular girl in school, Polly Scale. She has flawless blonde hair and perfect skin and eyes and lips and cheeks. The problem is, every single one of Jack's new friends likes her too. In fact, every single boy in school would kill for a date with Polly. So what makes Jack different? He plays the trumpet? Luckily, Jack sits next to one of Polly's best friends, Nikki, in band class, and she gives him the inside scoop on what Polly likes and what she looks for in guys. Things seem to go well for Jack, but Nikki and Polly soon start to become enemies. Jack then sees the true nature of Polly Scale as she practically chews Nikki up and spits her into a trash can. Plus, he soon learns there's someone else for him, someone who he has loved all along.
