My mother tells me as she puts the finishing touches on the basket for the new neighbors "Mom, you know that just because I became friends with Tess and she lived next door, doesn't mean that I'm going to be friends with these people too. Besides, I don't see any kids moving in." I remind my mother "Oh, this actually turned out pretty good." My mother says as she holds up the basket with a proud grin on her face. "Now here you go, and remember what I said-" my mother says as I grab the basket from her hand 17 year old Taylor, is your average teenage. Good grades, experiences occasional drama with her best friend and always finding herself falling in love. After her best friend moves away, Taylor finds herself alone and in desperate need of a friend. After meeting her new neighbor Harry, things begin to click.

In life, before we have achieved our satisfaction, happiness, and overcome our pain, we must go through our darkest times. We must hover in the middle before we can finally settle. "What am I going to do with you?" I placed my paintbrush down and stared into his intense green eyes. "You're going to get me a burger because I'm starving." He gave me the 'Are you serious look,' and I giggled. I shooed him away with my hands, and he sighed. "I'll go get the burger," he mumbled. ~^~^~^~^~^~ All rights reserved.
