Agnes Showman is not your typical teen. She is not hated nor well-liked; she is not excluded yet not included. This is the result of her strangely quirky interests. When she is thrown back in time to 11th century Scotland, Agnes wonders if her peculiarities have gone a little too far. She is sent the Dunbroch Castle, where the King and Queen of Four Clans Kingdom rule. Though they believe her story is insane, and convinced she is not a spy of the Vikings, King Fergus and Queen Elinor welcome her into their home. Agnes quickly becomes best friends with Princess Merida and a favorite of the triplet Princes. Agnes is beginning to enjoy her adventure, despite wondering if she will ever return to Google and electricity, when Merida is transported to another era. Possibly to the 21st century. Now, Agnes must find the Witch that enchanted the boulder that transported her to Scotland in the first place in order to retrieve Merida-- or risk losing the people and country she has come to love. With the help of a wandering clan, Agnes goes on a journey she never thought she'd blaze. She'll have to kill people in order to live, she will have to do things she never even thought were possible to do and she will have to believe in magic that she thought only lived in books. When her journey comes to an end, Agnes finds she must choose between the life she has come to love and the life that is safer and much more familiar.

Fate leads those who are willing but must push those who are not. One might interpret this saying a bit too literal. After all, Elena did end up on the bottom of a hill in the middle of a forest, suffering several injuries. But do not worry, fate loves a rebel and has something magical stored for our sarcastic heroine. Time travel. An adventure in the 16th century was not something our main character had in mind, but when her path is built with music and joy, it can't be that bad, right? Oh, who am I kidding. . . At first glance, it seemed to be the perfect fairytale for our main character; being able to experience the medieval time and be surrounded by enchantment wherever she went. She even meets a monk, blessed with the gift of music, who shares her passion and is willing to teach Elena the secrets of the piano. It's perfect. But it was only the tip of the iceberg. Elena's piece of tranquility is broken when she stumbles into another mess, leaving her caged and alone in the forest. Fortunately for our heroine, a prince crosses her path, helping her in her need. One might see this as the Universe's way for entertainment, or the fate's bizarre tactics to bring people together. Whatever it might be, it did not stop Elena from catching the eye of the prince of a powerful kingdom. *FINISHED!* (just edits being made now) -11/23/25 I decided to unpublished every chapter except the ones that are updated, I have been working to edit at least 1 chapter every day, don't know how long that will last, but I've been doing it for 3 days now -2/25/26 Aspen has lived in the castle her entire life but that changes on her sister's 16th birthday when she meets Jay and Gabe. Gabe can be kinda annoying and Jay doesn't talk much, but for Aspen's first friends they are perfect. When Jay reveals a scheme that changes Aspen's life forever, they help her escape the castle. They are now on a mission: to stop her sister, and save the kingdom. What she is planning, not even Aspen knows. I would also like to credit my friend who helped me write this.
