This is a short story I wrote for my first writing assessment of year 11. It was based off ideas spoken about in Thandie Newton's TED Talk "Embracing Otherness, Embracing Myself" (https://www.ted.com/talks/thandie_newton_embracing_otherness_embracing_myself).
I chose to write my story around her ideas raised about the self, and it being an ever changing projection of one's own mind. I hope you enjoy, and I welcome any (constructive) criticisms.
