This takes place less than a year into the apocalypse in San Francisco, where the Infected are the ones you need to fear. They are savage, flesh-eating beasts that act as if they are filled with rage. They sprint, they jump, and they only feast on us. 

Several survivors have managed to find sanctuary in a small portion of the city, where a wall was built to keep the Infected out. Three out of the many survivors include the best soldiers in the military; Cassie Hansen, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Tom Hiddleston. All best friends since boot camp, day one, they have been through missions together, stationed together, been through unimaginable things. But Ben and Cassie's friendship has gone ripe and Tom is trying to make it right again. 

When Ben and Cassie are set out on a run together, will they overcome their hatred for each other and make amends when faced with the Infected? Or will they encounter something much more sinister that will truly test their friendship? What secrets are they holding back and will they be revealed before it's too late?
