Rayne is seventeen. She lives with her insane mother; Bliss. She and her mother are total hippies, although they prefer the word 'free spirit'. Rayne loves and embraces that part of herself, but when her mom tries to get her into drugs, she runs. She makes it to Las Vegas and meets someone that she has looked up to her whole life, her idol; Johnny Depp.
He takes her in as his own, adopts her even. She then gets introduced to her new mysterious brother; Dakota. Rayne is infatuated by this boy, but can't let anyone know, he is after all her brother.
Rayne also thinks this attraction and maybe more is only one sided, but Dakota likes trouble and he is determined to bring some.
