Some heroes are created, some are born, and some find themselves thrown down the rabbit hole of responsibility and justice. Everyone needs a hero, even if they must become one themselves and four problematic teenagers find themselves abducted from their seedy, depraved, and tragic lives to become more than another burden to society. They may not have chosen their path, but sometimes destiny has a funny way of making you become super.
