Eveline is a college student with 2 years under her belt, majoring in psychology to get a family counseling degree when an old flame calls her back to her home town. Callum and Evy had been best friends, since the 3rd grade, until high school pulled them apart. But at the end of 8th grade, they made a fateful agreement. One that stated that if they were not dating anyone by the time they were graduated and out of high school, they would give being a couple a try.

After the agreement is long gone, and Evy has seemed to forget completely about Callum, he's the one to remind her that she owes him for the broken agreement.

Bring on Callum's blackmail threats of a long, young friendship, and enter Evy's reluctance to follow through on their 8th grade antics.

What will happen when the agreement is renewed with even higher stakes and even more dangerous circumstances.

Eveline Bennett is playing with fire, and she's getting burnt.
