Secrets to hide, smiles to fake... Safira Shyne is a typical girl who is very shy and does not socialize well. She is also a scardy cat. A secrets she has been keeping from everyone but her parents and Uncle Ben (aka her bodyguard) is that she is living a double life. She is living the life of the world wide famous international pop star Lea Ray. She has been in disguise for almost a year now. She is now 17 and her life will turn upside down when she hears the breaking news from her parents.
What will happen when her parents decided to attend an exclusive offer to a 'special' convention for a year which is miles away from home? What happens when they don't want to leave her un-attended?
They send her to live with her father's friend... the Williams family, until the end of the convention. What will happen then? Will she be able to hide her secret living with seven other different boys? How will she go on with her tours, cd signings, concerts and so on? More importantly... will she fall for one of them?

I have always been the invisible one. No one knows I am there. I try to fit in with everyone, but the students end up ignoring me. When I speak, no words escape my mouth. I have always known that there was another part of me, that wants to shine, but is too scared to show her face. It is as if we have been hiding behind the same mask and no one sees us. We put on a different mask to try to be like everyone else, but we're really covering up our true personality. As if I am a nerd, that everyone can just walk all over. However, I am not that type of person. It is as if, the only way you would be able to get attention, is if you become a "bad boy," or you wear clothes that show too much skin. I am not like that; I do not know how to act "bad". I have always been a good girl and I do not know how to dress like that. I mean I do have some type of fashion sense. When I say I'm a good girl I mean that I am one of those good girls who gets what she want most of the time, but doesn't talk to her parents about her social life, or when she gets a new boyfriend. I keep to myself and they keep to themselves. I mean they still talk to me when they think I need something, and they respect my privacy. I just do not know what to do with my life anymore. I have hidden and gotten ignored, from the world a little too long. I bet if I just disappeared right now, that no one would even know I am gone, let alone miss me.
