Gerard Way is a young college student whose biggest dream is to be a famous journalist. And his chance came when he received a chance to study at the The Department of Journalism and Media Studies at Rutger's University in his home state of New Jersey, he thinks his dreams are closer to coming true. And his first assignment comes when two Rutger's students are killed, both murders in close time proximity with each other. Then after another murder takes place, Gerard suddenly becomes interested, and starts his own investigating. When he visits the bloody crime scenes, and learns the victims were male prostitutes, Gerard gives a name for this sadistic killer...The Rutger's Ripper. After publishing numerous articles on this killer, and visits the next crime scene, he realizes the killer knows him. And soon he will learn just how much the Rutger's Ripper admires his work.
