Lucy is givin demon powers and is half demon. She is sent to the depths of hell only to find out why Natsu was taking so long with his solo mission. He went solo because Lucy got injured and Happy went with Carla and Wendy. She finds Natsu their as the demon of fire and Lucy is the demon of light and stars (if you dont know this includes the sun because the sun is a star). And also finds about Natsu's and Happy's secrat.
