Mudpuppies

Maya, Benny, Toby, and Stephanie have been best friends since as long as they can remember seeing each other outside each other’s mobile homes, in the small town trailer park they all grew up in. Cast off by the rest of their peers for their own odd quirks, they form a pact and become known to each other as the Mudpuppies on the promise they’ll always stick together and one day be free enough to live life doing whatever they want. Burdened by school problems, poverty, and unstable families, that dream seems to be a far cry from realistic until a new friend, Luke, comes into the mix. It’s their senior year of high school and they’ve made it this far-- the question is, will all go astray once new complications start to arise and the Mudpuppies’ problems take them from simply just stuck in the mud to flat out sinking?
